Registration Fee (Non-refundable, payable with Registration Form) £100.00
Acceptance Deposit (Refundable upon leaving, payable with Acceptance Form) £200.00
- All fees are payable in advance or on the first day of term.
- The fees include break time refreshments and most activities taught by peripatetic specialists.
- The fees include lunch, trips and visitors, external sporting activities including swimming, however does not include individual musical instrument lesson or Senco tuition.
- Breakfast & Afterschool Club requirements must be indicated in advance and charges will be added to the relevant invoice.
Pre-Preparatory and Preparatory Fees per Term
(Inclusive of lunch, swimming, external sporting activities and trips)
Reception, Year 1 & 2 (Infants) £2,700.00
Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 (Juniors) £2,800.00
Breakfast & Afterschool Club Fees – amounts quoted are per TERM

Please note that school fees are subject to annual reviews.
Optional Extra Fees
Individual music, singing lessons and speech and drama will be invoiced by the specialist separately from the main school fees.

SENCo Tuition and Family Support
SENCo tuition is available and will be advised by the Headteacher if and when required.
£35.00 morning drop in sessions (small group)
£26.25 per half hour session (one to one)
£52.50 per hour for report writing and consultation meetings with Parents, Outside Agencies (i.e. Education Psychologists, Occupational Therapists etc will be charged as discussed, prior to assessments and meetings)
Family support letters and reports for mediation and preparation for court will be charged at £52.50.
The cost per term includes lunch, snacks, curriculum sporting costs and tuition. Non-school based activities such as PGL trips, French trips for example will be pre-advised and optional permission from parents/carers will be sought prior to booking and invoiced accordingly.
The school reserves the right to increase the fees without prior notice, although in most cases a terms notice will be given.
School fees may be paid by standing order over three months. Staggered methods of payment will incur a 3% surcharge. Further information and Standing Order Mandates are available from the office.
Families with more than one child in attendance at either Torwood Lodge Nursery Pre-School Dept. or Torwood House School receive a reduction of 5% for the first child. Please telephone the accounts office 0117 3732426, for the relevant paperwork.
Parents are reminded that fees are due to be paid on or before the first day of term. If payment is received later than this we reserve the right to levy late payment charges composed of simple interest calculated on a daily basis at 1.5% per month, from the first day of each term, and all administration and legal costs in relation to any sums that are unpaid by the due date.
Parents must give one full term’s written notice of their intention to withdraw a pupil or the Registration of a pupil from the School, otherwise fees must be paid in lieu of notice as per the Standard Terms and Conditions.
Discontinuation of an ‘optional extra, Afterschool Club or a reduction in sessions requires one full term’s written notice or a term’ fees will be immediately payable in lieu as a debt.
