‘Staff and children have excellent relationships.’ Ofsted 2019
During their time at Torwood children develop valuable social skills and respect for each other and themselves, so that they can continue to grow in to confident and capable school children.
We provide an extensive range of equipment and resources for a variety of activities to enhance and support children’s learning. As children progress they are introduced to more challenging and creative activities to further develop their learning and development.
Messy Play – develops imagination, creative thinking, ability to problem solve, and use of all their senses.
Open ended and natural resources – provides an opportunity for children to think imaginatively and bring a sense of adventure and excitement to their play.
Children are encouraged to enjoy and experience the outdoor environment within our beautiful, secure gardens and purpose-built safe play areas. We take advantage of the surrounding area by taking children off site in buggies across to the Downs and local parks.
